Finance and Accounts Executive

Roles & Responsibility


  • Preparing and analyzing monthly Balance sheets and  various finance schedules.

  • Process financial records such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and journals and other GL

  • Process client billings and categorize costs accordingly.

  • Prepare, analyze and review budgets and expenditures for local, state, federal, and private funding, contracts, and grants.

  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepare report of R&D, Work In Progress (WIP), reconciliation & trackers

  • Resolve accounting discrepancies.

  • Accounts payable and Receivables management

  • Support to  F&A department on:


  • Statutory compliances- License, ESI,PF and other Company related documents and Conducting Statutory,Financial and General Audit

  • Managing Tax Returns compliance (ITR,GST,TDS,TCS,Property, etc.,)

  • Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, systems

  • Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.

  • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.

  • Creating new SOPs and implementing  policies

  • Export-Import documents handling and filing of BOE.

  • Financial MIS preparation.

  • Preparing and management of cost sheet of Manufacturing & R&D related

  • Investors Reporting and query management

  • Banking & Treasury operations 




  • GST and statutory filings

  • Stock and Inventory management

  • Official budgeting and formulation of measures to rectify errors arising thereof.

  • Cash and Bank Reconciliation

  • Perform account reconciliations and generate financial reports



Administrative tasks:

  • Official Travel plans & arrangements

  • Procurements handling

  • Office utilities handling

  • Audit and authenticate all documents related to Statutory,legal, salary statements and distribution, policies etc.

  • Company administration such as email, Company Doc, Bank Account Details, Confidential information other KYC Compliance

  • Insurance Management - WC,Medical, etc.

  • Transit documentations for business operations

  • Company General correspondence management (General Calls, queries etc.,)

    

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

  • Accounts Finalization knowledge 

  • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP Principles). 

  • Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications like Tally/Quickbooks/Zoho etc.,

  • Basic knowledge of state financial regulations

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

  • GST and other tax compliance awareness 

  • Administration abilities

  • Strong problem solving

  • Proficiency with computers, Excel and other Office applications

  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.

  • critical thinking

  • Commercial awareness

  • Must be team player


Added advantage:

  • Master degree in finance and Accounts

  • Experiences with a startup firm/in a manufacturing firm

Experience: 

3 - 6 Years 

Qualification:

BCom/MCom/CA/CMA/ MBA or others
