Key Role
Participates in product ideation through brainstorming sessions, review of concepts, and interaction with cross-functional teams
Creates sketches, 3D CAD models, and physical prototypes as needed to convey new ideas to others
Performs FEA analysis on multiple domains to simulate the effect of external loads on the product and provide accurate results
Assists in specifying components and developing test procedures related to the mechanical design of products
Assists in development of test plans to prove new products or improvements
Work closely with Engineers to implement your designs at a high degree of quality
Involve in root cause analysis and develop solutions
Performs other additional duties as assigned or required
Skills Required
Knowledge and experience with the utilization of CAD/3-D Modelling Software - SolidWorks, FEA softwares - Ansys/Nastran or similar.
Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software(s) to produce accurate results through simulation.
Good sketching and concept generation skills
Must be familiar with basic theories behind mechanical engineering design, manufacturing processes
Ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems - assess a situation, gather data, analyze the data, propose a solution
Ability to work both individually and as part of a cross-functional team
Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in composites, fabrication of composite structures
Experience in mechanical design work

Actively enrolled in a degree program focused on Mechanical/Mechatronics/Naval arch Engineering Degree
